Yesterday when I was at

queendea's... she told me this parable.

See, there were these two shepherds. One was rich, one was poor. The rich one had a LOT of sheep. Lots and lotsa sheep. The poor shepherd only had one but... this sheep, the poor shepherd took care of and loved with all his heart.
Then one day, a traveller came to town and the rich shepherd wanted to throw a party for him. Instead of slaughtering one of his own sheep, he took the poor shepherd's beloved sheep and killed it.

Then Nathan said to David, "You are the man! You killed him with the sword of the Ammonites. 10 Now, therefore, the sword will never depart from your house, because you despised me and took the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your own.'

Before your very eyes I will take your wives and give them to one who is close to you, and he will lie with your wives in broad daylight. 12 You did it in secret, but I will do this thing in broad daylight before all Israel.' "
